Rupert Graves is a British film, television and theatre actor famous for roles in A Room with a View, The Madness of King George, and Horrible Histories: The Movie.

Since 2010 we all him from starring as D.I. Lestrade in the BBC television series Sherlock a show many of us hear are huge fans of.

Born and raised in Weston-super-Mare in Somerset, Rupert left school at the age of 15 and set to work in the entertainment industry, as a circus clown. Making his stage debut in 1983 in “The Killing of Mr. Toad”.

Rupert shot to fame and established himself thorough a series of critical successes in the mid-80s and 90s in movies and has continued to grace our screens and stage in the critical success including The Forsyte Saga and Broadway hits such as The Elephant Man.

Our younger viewers, will of course know Rupert, as Governor Suetonius Paulinus in brilliant 2019 film, Horrible Histories - The Movie.
