Stephen Greene CBE is co-fonder and CEO of the international pro-social media company Rockcorps.
As head of RockCorps, he has overseen the production of over 40 volunteer-exclusive concerts worldwide, featuring music artists such as Lady Gaga, Diddy and Rihanna.
In 2012 the then British Prime Minister, David Cameron, appointed Greene as Executive Chairman of the independent management body of the National Citizen Service, a programme we all here at JLGB know and love.
Stephen Greene is also an advisor to War Child UK, the charity that works to prevent children from being recruited as soldiers of war, as well as trustee of IVO and The Fowler Center.
Born in Portland, Oregon, USA, Greene currently Stephen studied Bussiness at the University of a California, Los Angeles and now resides in right here in London, England with his wife and family
In the Queen’s Birthday honours in June 2019 was awarded the CBE for services to young people.
Like previous VIRTUAL guests Dame Julie Cleverdon and Brett Wigdortz Stephen has been a tremendous friend and advocate to JLGB especially in ensuring JLGB were able to provide a faith and cultural sensitivity specialst NCS provision and we are delighted he joins us here this evening.
